Did Annie Sloan old white change?
The “new” Old White has a very slight grey tones, like an oyster shell! It does NOT have that “French Vanilla Ice Cream” color. The new Old White, is a color which works with everything, but for the classic French look, use it over Paris Grey. Annie Sloan describes this color as chalk or gesso.
Can you mix chalk paint brands?
Even though it is quite thick, the pieces I painted needed a second coat (especially if I was painting a light color over dark wood).
