What is the mission of Seeds of Peace? Our mission is to inspire and cultivate new generations of global leaders in communities divided by conflict. We equip them with the skills and relationships they need to accelerate social, economic, and political changes essential for peace.
Why was Seeds of Peace created?
Seeds of Peace began in 1993 as an idea of the American journalist John Wallach. At a state dinner with politicians from Israel, Egypt, and the Palestinian Authority, Wallach toasted them, then inspired them to pledge to bring 15 youngsters from each of their respective countries to a new camp he was founding in Maine.
How do I collect peace lily seeds?
You can harvest seeds from the peace lily’s pod to propagate new plants. Trim the seed pod from the lily once the pod has turned black, and scrape the seeds from outside the pod using a spoon. You can plant them immediately or save them in an envelope for later use.

All species on this list need a long period of dormancy [summer] and should not be watered during that time. Seeds can be ordered throughout the year and bulbs from June to Mid October. Its seeds it self freely. Lovely when crouded. Superb form up to 20cm with pink flush on base of the petals. An early flowering species to 60 cm. Pendulous yellow/green flowers, highly scented. Interesting leaves.
