Stratus 2S is wireless with an 8-hour battery life. It comes equipped with Stratus Replay (a feature that enables the device to store weather information even when your iPad is asleep), a pressure altitude sensor, and a built-in flight data recorder (for replaying your flights using Google Earth or CloudAhoy).
Does Stratus 3 have ADS-B out?
Stratus 3 includes a dual band (978 MHz and 1090 MHz) ADS-B receiver so it can display traffic information right on the ForeFlight Maps page. Picks up all aircraft equipped with ADS-B Out as well all aircraft equipped with Mode C transponders (if your airplane has ADS-B Out in the panel).
Does Stratus 2S work with Garmin Pilot?
No. Garmin Pilot will (AFAIK) only work with Garmin hardware – a GDL portable device like the GDL-50 or -52, or installed hardware like the GDL-84, GTX-345 or a navigator with Flightstream or G3X with a GDL-39.

While the Sentry is charging the PWR LED will turn blue. A full charge of a completely empty battery will take 10-12 hrs with a 2A charger. The Sentry will charge most quickly when turned OFF while charging.
