Mostly concerned that 05 was the first year of the 1200GS. Don’t know if they still had servos, or if there were any first-year issues to be wary of. It was dealer maintained. Appreciate any input. The main problem is the crap seals BMW spec’d initially and the fact that the unit wasn’t vented so when the FD heated up the seals got loaded with increased pressure. So, when the seals fail, the lube leaks out and the drive burns up.
