Recruiting the Next Generation of Sigma Nus
What is your chapter doing to help recruit the next generation of Sigma Nus? As we all know, recruitment is the lifeblood of our Fraternity. And, with staggering increases in recruitment numbers this past fall, we expect this positive trend to continue.
We hope that every chapter will take advantage of our Recruitment Bluebook and our new Values-Based Recruitment web site, as well as provide referral recommendations for our National Recruitment Day program.
Remember, successful organizations attract successful Candidates – let's all work together and have a record-setting fall in 2009! |

America's Next Top Judge Eta Kappa alum serves as a "chief judge" for men's gymnastics at 2012 Olympics
Steve Butcher (San Diego State) is headed to the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England, although you'll probably never see him on TV.
Butcher is one of seven men recently elected, through votes by 87 countries, to the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Men's Technical Committee—only the third American in the FIG's 127 year history. It will be his second Olympics—Butcher judged the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, last summer, as well as two World Championships in 2005 and 2007. In London, he will serve as an apparatus supervisor for one of six men's gymnastics events during the next Olympic Games. "It's a great honor but, of course, with that comes tremendous responsibility," says Butcher.

The Hunt is On by Jennifer Weaver at thespectrum.com
The 23rd Annual Sigma Nu Easter Egg Hunt claimed the title of largest egg hunt in the state of Utah. When the word "Go" was issued by the illustrious Easter Bunny, in less than three minutes, more than 15,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and winning tickets for prizes were gathered by hundreds of children in Main Street Park.
