Do FPS freeks really work?

My answer is yes. Kontrol Freek IS worth it because it actually works. I was incredibly skeptical when I received a set of Kontrol Freek Phantoms back in December. Kontrol Freek gave me an excuse to revisit some titles and try their product on casual gaming.

How good are Kontrol Freaks?

They have smooth travel, decent grip, and hold up to most abuse. They’re one of the greatest advancements in gaming hardware, and they provide a much-appreciated alternative to the D-pad. But honestly, the perfect joysticks should be forgettable—ones you never even have to think about.

Do control freaks ruin your controller?

They’re comfortable, protect the stock thumb stick, and give them a nice serfs area. I’ve had no problems with them slipping off the thumb sticks, they haven’t caused any damage to the controller, and they don’t get in the way either.

They last roughly 1-2 years with an average playtime of about 2-5 hours a day in my experience.

Do thumbsticks improve aim?

When it comes to improving your game, while paddles a great difference, nothing improves your aim more than having the right thumbsticks. Everyone has different hand sizes, thumb lengths, and preferences.

Do pro gamers use Kontrol Freeks?

Some pro players use them, yes. If you are playing on a default PS4 controller then I think they are a must. Some pros have scuffs and they are not needed because the height of the stick is already sufficient.
